The Vinetto Guitars Deuce is a solid-body guitar that makes use of the Deuce Blender Control to create variable tone combinations. The Deuce is what you’d get if you took a tele and added a tele pickup on the bridge and a Lollar mini-humbucker in the neck.

The Deuce’s body is made from one of four different woods. You can select alder, white mahogany, Honduran mahogany, or swamp ash. It’s a strong through body. The neck is done in a soft V shape that tapers to a C. It uses 22 frets and has a fretboard from either rosewood or maple. The standard pickup is a Lollar vintage T bridge and Lollar mini-humbucker neck, although DiMarzio pickups are available.

The controls on the Deuce include a master volume and master tone knob, a three-way selector, and the Deuce Pickup Blender that activates the unique blending feature. When the switch is in positions one or three, the bottom blends the bridge pickup, but when you back off, it blends to the neck humbucker. The middle position creates a 50/50 blend.

The guitar is done in a nitrocellulose lacquer finish and can be done in many different colors, metallics, and two or three color sunbursts. The Deuce once sold for $2,170, but today, it often goes for $2,600 or more.

Vinetto Legato Classic 255 Series

Vinetto guitars are some of the most sought after relic guitars around today. One of the reasons is because they are often produced in limited quantities, so anyone who wants to own one of these fine instruments has to jump on them right away or risk losing the chance. The Vinetto Legato Classic 255 relic guitar features a traditional 25” scale length neck. It also uses Vinetto’s unique “under the bed” patina finish, and it’s available in a number of different colors and pickup combinations. You can also select the trem version if you want the Legato softtail model. The Legato also uses a new front arm contour that Vinetto created just for this guitar.

If you’d like to purchase a Vinetto Legato Classic 255, they are available from a number of different retailers. However, since Vinetto only works with certain companies, you may not simply be able to walk into the store and buy one. Be sure to factor that into your purchasing decision.

Vinetto Artifact SC 56 WG

While working at Fender, Vince Cunetto was one of the designers who started the whole relic craze. Now he creates his own relic guitars under the Vinetto brand. One of these is the Artifact SC 56 WG. This relic is based on one of the guitars from the mid-fifties. It was during this time that guitars were undergoing a change, and the Artifact SC 56 WG represents the best of those changes, including things like the change from the V neck to the C shape neck and the move from flat poles to staggered poles.

The SC 56 WG features 21 frets and has a neck made from solid maple. The fretwire is modified vintage, and the radius is 9.5 inches. It used bone for its nut material, and if has a Gotoh vintage style tuner. The body itself is sold and is made out of swamp ash. Over on the bridge, you’ll find 3 vintage brass saddles and a Glendale in-tone cold roll. The pickguard is done in a single layer of white rigid vinyl. The SC 56 WG features a three-way pick up selector and master tone and volume controls. It also has lollar vintage T pickups.

This relic guitar is finished in an all nitrocellulose lacquer, and each piece is individually aged by Vince Cunetto. This means that each instrument both looks like it has been played for years and is unique. Because they’re hand aged, you know your SC 56 WG is not going to look like any other guitar out there, making it truly special.
