Wildwood Guitars offers a number of relic guitars, and all of their instruments are highly sought after by collectors. Their exclusive guitars include the LTD Dealer Select Wildwood “10s” 1959 Telecaster Custom Relic guitar, a guitar that was built in collaboration with the Fender Custom Shop. Every one of these guitars was carefully hand-crafted by Fender to insure quality and attention to every detail. The 1959 Telecaster is available in both custom-built and master-built versions so collectors can select whichever they prefer. There are only a limited number of these relic guitars, however, so collectors must buy quickly.
The Limited Dealer Select Wildwood “10s” 1959 Telecaster Custom Relic Guitar features a body made from select lightwood Alder, and the standard neck is made from quartersawn Maple in a ’59 J.E. C shape. However, you can also have the customized neck done in straight-grain maple or AA flame maple. The fingerboard is made from Brazilian Rosewood and has a ten inch radius. The relic guitar features 21 Dunlop 6105 Narrow Jumbo Frets and has a custom shop twisted Tele single-coil pickup on the neck and a custom hot NoCaster vintage Tele single-coil bridge pickup. There are three pickup options: bridge, neck, or bridge and neck. The entire guitar is artificially aged so that it looks like it’s from 1959 and has aged plastic parts and a worn finish.
