The Make’n Music Master Vintage Player’s Series 1950s Stratocaster Heavy Relic Masterbuilt is one of those guitars designed to become an instant sensation with players.  Once you pick up this great relic guitar, you’ll become lost in its many tones and its amazing playability.  This limited run relic was designed by Masterbuilder John Cruz of the Fender Custom Shop exclusively for Make’n Music, and Cruz made certain these new guitars reflected everything the 1950s Stratocasters were known for.

Each of these MVP 1950s Strats features the highest quality parts.  The guitar is made out of a two piece lightweight Ash body with an offset seam, and the neck is made out of quarter sawn maple and features a V profile and a 9.5 inch radius with 6105 frets.  The pickups are wired to a five-way switch, two tone controls, and S-1 volume and are hand-wound for this specific guitar so they provide the best tone around. The five different switch positions include bridge pickup, bridge and middle pickup in parallel, middle pickup, middle and neck pickup in parallel, and neck pickup when it’s in S-1 switch up.  In switch down, you can select between bridge and neck and all three pickups.

As one of Fender’s relic guitars, the MVP 1950s Strat has been artificially aged to look like it’s from the 1950s.  Each piece features “natural” wear and tear, stretches, worn finish, and aged plastic parts.
