Fender’s Custom Shop has created the “No-Neck” ‘60s Stratocaster Relic specifically for Music Zoo. The nocaster neck profile is one of the most popular neck shapes, but the nocaster neck has never been offered on a Stratocaster guitar. Well, until now, that is. The Music Zoo No-Neck is the first ever Strat with this neck, making it quite a buy for collectors. The ’60 Stratocaster combines the classic Strat with the features and playability of the rounded Nocaster neck. It’s a unique, modern twist on two classic guitar features, and it’s an amazing instrument.
The No-Neck Strat features a select alder body and a neck made from quarter sawn maple done in the NoCaster U shape. It features a dark Indian rosewood fingerboard with a 9.5 inch radius and 21 Dunlop 6105 narrow jumbo frets. This all combines to create one of the most player-friendly guitars out there. The instrument also features three custom wound ‘60s single-coil Strat pickups, two tone controls, a five position blade for pickup switching, and more. The No-Neck is available in a number of different colors, including black, vintage blonde, three-color sunburst, and sonic blue, and you can get it in NOS or heavy relic treatments. As with all relics, the guitar is artificially aged to look like it’s been heavily used.
