The Malden Utopia is a great looking and sounding relic guitar that feels just like any classic instrument.  It is set up like a Stratocaster, which adds to this classic look and feel, and it’s a fairly flexible guitar that can be used to play many different types of music.  The Utopia resembles the Duo Sonic guitars made during the 50s.  It features three single coil strap pickups, a five way switch, and volume and tone controls.  It’s also a very lightweight and well balanced guitar.  While it’s based on a Fender, it has several interesting changes and features to make it a unique, fun instrument in its own right.

The Malden Utopia features an alder body that comes in basswood, white, or black.  The neck is bolted on and is made out of maple rosewood.  It features 21 narrow and tall frets, and the inlays are dots.  All of the hardware featured on these guitars is made from chrome, and they also use 3 Alinico single coil pickups.  The guitars come in three different finishes—white, black, and three tone.  All three finishes look great, and overall, these relic guitars will bring back the look and feel of the 50s.  It’s an amazing classic instrument that features everything you need.
