The Sensei HB-FM by Reverend Guitars sounds like a classic flametop, but it’s much thinner and lighter.  You get all those smooth sounds you’d expect from a flametop with a more focused midrange and a clearer treble response.  The Sensei HB-FM is a very versatile instrument, but thanks to its thin body, it’s much lighter than many comparable guitars.

The guitar has a body made from solid korina and a top made from flame maple.  The medium oval neck is glued on and is made from a piece of korina as well.  The Sensei has a rosewood fingerboard with a twelve inch radius and pearloid block inlays.  It uses 22 medium jumbo frets and has a dual-action truss rod.  The tuners are Reverend pin-lock tuners, while the bridge is a TOM with a stop tail.  The guitar features a volume and tone controls, plus a bass contour control and a three way switch.
