The 1960s Stratocaster Heavy Relic features a body made out of select lightweight Alder with an off-center seam.  The neck is made from quarter sawn maple and done in a mid 1960s oval C shape.  The fingerboard has a nine and a half inch radius with 21 Dunlop 6105 narrow jumbo frets.  You’ll also find three custom shop Masterbuilt sing-coil pickups, two tone controls, and a five-position switch.  When combined with the two-position push, this gives you ten different positions.  Other unique features include the truss rod adjustment on the headstock and the white dot position inlays.

As with all relic guitars, the 1960s Strat Heavy Relic has been artificially aged so that it appears to be over forty years old.  The finish shows what looks like years of natural wear and tear, scratches, nicks, and more.  A bit of rusty hardware and some aged plastic pieces finish off this aged effect.
