Ron Asheton played with a number of recognized names in the music industry, including Iggy Pop.  However, this guitar legend had never sat down and created a guitar until he teamed up with Reverend to create the Reverend Ron Asheton Signature Model.  This unique instrument is based on the Reverend Volcano model, but it has been modified according to Asheton’s specifications.  It now has a body made from solid korina with a raised center area.  The fingerboard is made out of rosewood and has a twelve inch radius, while the neck is glued on and is made from one piece of korina.  The guitar also has three Reverend P90 pickups that give it a fat tone while still sounding somewhat raw.  It also gives the model a nice, percussive attack.
